A big Thank you

A HUGE thank you to the Heathrow Modern Mom's and Lake Mary Montessori Academy Mom's for supporting Jc's Kidz Dudz.  This group started collecting items over the last month and met on February 26, 2015 to organize and size all the amazing donations.  There were many new items purchased such as shoes, bras, underwear and socks and many bags of donated clothing that their children had outgrown.  Jc's Kidz Dudz was opened in 2013 with the support of OSFCA to accommodate children coming in to care and continued assistance when needed, with clothing and basic necessities.

The Heathrow Modern Moms and Lake Mary Montessori Academy is pleased to know that these items will be used by children in need and they look forward to supporting and partnering more with OSFCA and Jc's Kidz Dudz in the future.  Again, thank you to these two groups of amazing ladies making a difference in our local community for kids that have been abused and neglected.

Together We Rise

Hello Families!

I wanted to tell you about the above mentioned organization.  I found their link on Facebook and I inquired about their sweet case.  I wanted to make a request first to see how their system works.  I received a sweet case today for a child in foster care so I wanted to pass this along.....Just FYI, it was about 90 days from the time of request to receiving the sweet case.  The sweet cases are for children in foster care.

A Little About "Together We Rise"

Together We Rise is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization comprised of motivated young adults and former foster youth. Our vision is to improve the lives of foster children in America, who often find themselves forgotten and neglected by the public. TWR has built a foundation of passionate volunteers who work tirelessly to transform the way kids experience foster care. Our foundation has allowed us to provide thousands of foster kids across the country with sports equipment, bicycles, and suitcases so that children do not have to travel from home to home with their clothing in a trash bag.
